Hi! I’m Kylie (Ky), the owner of AS A DREAMER! I was born and raised in Portland, OR, and absolutely love the beautiful state I live in. It makes my job as a photographer so easy when I have all these amazing locations to shoot at :)

I began my business endeavors in 2018 with the classic "KS" logo, which stood for my first and last name (Kylie Sepich), but I wanted it to be more than personal branding for my photography business. I wanted to create a brand that was meaningful, impactful and built community. Growing up, I had my eyes set on anything to do with creativity. Whether that was designing clothes, painting, dancing, taking photos, or making videos. I had a desire and drive to accomplish many big dreams. I wanted to create a brand that embodies creativity to its fullest. As I began dreaming, I slowly got ideas and visions of what I pictured my brand to be.

After much thought, I came up with AS A DREAMER, which translates to "kao sanjar" in Croatian and now stands for KS too. (Side note: I am Croatian, which is why I felt it all tied together perfectly). 

AS A DREAMER exists to capture memories and create meaningful photo experiences. My hope is that it inspires and connects other creative dreamers like me.

​As I continue this journey, I am excited for the opportunities I will have to create more, as well as the people I will meet along the way.
